Visit us

The Police Museum welcomes all visitors, and tries to meet all visitors’ needs. Book a guided tour, take part in educational activities or experience the museum at your own pace.

Address

Museivägen 7, in the Gärdet district beside Tekniska Museet. Bus route 69 stops directly opposite the entrance to the Police Museum. The entrance hall, lift and toilets are adapted to provide access for disabled people.

Opening hours during summer (20th of June - 21th of August):

Monday – Friday 12.00-17.00 
Saturday and Sunday 11.00 - 17.00

Ordinary opening hours and programme:

Tuesday – Friday 12.00-17.00 
Saturday and Sunday 11.00 - 17.00

Adults: SEK 60
Children and young people up to 19 years: free
OAPs and students: SEK 40
Police employees with valid identification: free

Parking

Parking is available at the museum. There are spaces reserved for the disabled.

Coming to the Police Museum by public transport?

Take the underground, Pendeltåg suburban train or bus to T-centralen. Take bus route 69, destination Blockhusudden, and get off at the stop called Museiparken.

Language

Most of the content of the museum is presented in Swedish and English.
